SportzDigital Check-In, the digital platform which manages all of the Townsville Touch Football participant, official, and spectator check-ins to ensure COVID Safe Plan compliance, has now been upgraded to allow players to pay their match fees ($5.00 per player, per game) as part of the check-in process.
The addition of payments to the check-in process was trialled over the weekend and proved extremely popular to players across all competitions.
As a result of the successful trial, the payments upgrade will now be rolled out across all TTF-run competitions, allowing all players to pay their fee via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal.
While players can still choose to pay cash if needed (using the match fee envelopes provided), TTF is discouraging the use of cash in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Team Coaches and Managers still remain responsible for ensuring their players pay their full match fees, and for the management of any outstanding debt.
TTF Administration will continue to provide teams with notice should players in their team fail to pay match fees, and as per the competition's by-laws, games will not commence should there be an excessive amount in arrears.
