The Townsville Junior Cup is a junior touch football carnival, held in Townsville on the first weekend in October (this year the 3-4th October), and it's open to all local associations, clubs, schools, and teams from across the country (provided you can meet COVID-19 regulations).
To take advantage of all the sights that the Townsville region has to offer, we recommend you make your way to Townsville earlier in the week and take a much needed holiday, and then finish it off with a touch footy carnival against the backdrop of iconic Castle Hill.
Townsville Touch Football will soon be advertising some great deals on accomodation and things to see and do while you're here in paradise!
This event isn't a representative event, so you don't need to come as part of your local association or club, and can nominate your own team made up of players from anywhere! Just make sure you have a coach and manager (over the age of 18) before you nominate your team, as you won't be able to take part on the day without them there!
The Townsville Junior Cup is open to teams in Under 10's, Under 12's, Under 14's, and Under 16's age levels, in both boys and girls divisions.
There's no team nomination fee for this event, just a $30 per player registration fee (payable online at registration)!
In between playing touch footy, teams will also be in the running to win some great prizes throughout the event, as they take part in exciting team activities such as team relays and fastest feet races.
